We are currently looking for an Engineering Officer - Electrical to provide guidance, coordination and supervision of strategic activities for electrical maintenance of the plants and in design and construction of new Power Plants.

What will you do:

• Provide support to plant performances (efficiency, capacity, reliability, flexibility, etc.) and propose actions aiming at the continuous improvement of plant efficiency and reliability.
• Provide support for the definition of the annual maintenance plan and the annual maintenance budget and cost optimization for the generating unit.
• Provide technical specification for the new projects of the Company
• Ensure the development of specific maintenance and inspection methodologies and supervise the implementation.
• Provide support for investigating and identifying solutions to specific technical issues of the plant (troubleshooting and predictive, preventive or corrective maintenance).
• Act as a prime source of maintenance and engineering expertise.
• Ensure that your actions are always in adherence to company HSE standards and ISO requirements and that he/she is always up to date with all company HSE & ISO requirements.
• Develop and implement strategic projects targeting to Power Plants performance and reliability improvements.
• Perform resource planning in order to carry out efficiently the projects he has been assigned.
• Provide support to the plants for the development of technical specifications for improvements, modifications, new investments or applications with higher technical complexity.
• Collect operational data (e.g. efficiency, water consumption, gas/air volume), analyze them and identifies areas for change/maintenance, determine the technical specification and evaluates quotation through economic analysis.
• Provide support to the plants for investigating and identifying solutions to specific maintenance (predictive, preventive or corrective) technical issues.
• Provide support to the Plants during the outages and the major overhauls and undertake specific tasks to your responsibility.
• Collect and review operational KPIs and report them to the relevant stakeholders. Identify improvement actions.
• Handle queries regarding Power Plant Operations by reviewing and supporting personnel in queries of Local Authority.
• Undertake projects of the company in developing new capacity. Review technical proposals and provides technical assessment of the proposals. Create the contracts and supervises the construction.

What you need to be successful:

• A MEng in Electrical Engineering
• At least 5 years relevant working experience to a similar position
• Experience in implementation, training and maintenance of strict Quality and HSE protocols (esp. IS09001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, etc.)
• Being a member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE – TCG
• Advanced level of English
• Good Communication and interpersonal skills
• Good Project management Skills
