Senior Data Governance Consultant

What you'll do:

• Coordinate data classification studies for information systems of Public Sector entities
• Analyze databases to identify sensitive data and develop classification frameworks
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data governance and protection policies
• Prepare technical and functional documentation
• Support metadata management and data governance compliance projects

What you'll bring:

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data analysis and documentation projects
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database analysis (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, etc.)
• Experience with data cataloging, data classification, or metadata standards (e.g., ISO/IEC 11179, DCAT)
• Understanding of compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001)
• Experience in Public Sector projects and understanding of sub-project implementation/monitoring procedures
• Ability to author technical and analytical documentation (in Greek and English)

Other desired qualifications
:

• Experience with or familiarity with IBM Cloud Pak for Data (or similar data governance platforms)
• Experience in data masking / data privacy projects
• Knowledge of tools such as Collibra, Informatica, Talend, Alation, etc.
• Good scripting skills (Python, Shell)
