In order to support our rapid growth we are seeking to hire for 2026 a Sous Chef.

Position Summary

The Sous Chef supports the Executive Chef in managing the kitchen team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, innovative cuisine while maintaining strict hygiene, safety, and cost control standards in line with a luxury resort's expectations

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily kitchen operations and ensure consistent food quality and presentation.
• Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and food costing.
• Coordinate kitchen sections and oversee Chef de Partie and junior staff.
• Ensure hygiene and safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Support training and development of kitchen staff.
• Control stock levels and minimize waste.
• Take charge in the absence of the Executive Chef.

Requirements

• 5+ years of kitchen experience, including supervisory roles
• Culinary diploma or equivalent formal training
• Experience in fine dining or luxury hotel kitchens
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Passion for culinary excellence and creativity
• High attention to detail and quality
• Resilience and composure in high-pressure environments
• Ability to coach and motivate the team
