What You'll Be Doing

• Security-Driven Infrastructure Management: Administer and maintain client systems and networks (servers, endpoints, firewalls, and cloud environments) with a focus on secure configuration, least privilege, and resilience against cyber threats.
• Threat Mitigation and Security Implementation: Enforce and continuously monitor cybersecurity best practices — including timely patching, system hardening, access governance, and incident response preparedness.
• Security Incident Response: Gather threat intelligence and establish root cause, assist in eradicating threats and remediating issues caused by cybercriminals.
• Secure Network Administration: Configure and troubleshoot routing, switching, VPNs, VLANs, and connectivity while ensuring network segmentation, traffic monitoring, and protection against intrusion or data leakage.
• System Assurance and Maintenance: Manage updates, backups, and performance optimization for Windows and Linux systems while validating integrity, auditing configurations, and mitigating vulnerabilities.
• Client Protection and Support: Deliver technical assistance that emphasizes incidence response, operational continuity, data protection, and adherence to cybersecurity frameworks and compliance standards.
• Standards and Frameworks Facilitation: Translate legal obligations to management to enhance awareness and promote action to bolster security in the most productive and cost effective manner.
• Cross Team Collaboration: Work closely with, and learn from penetration testers, digital forensics experts, and SOC specialists to ensure a holistic approach to cybersecurity.

What We're Looking For

Experience:

• 2–4 years of hands-on cybersecurity or infrastructure security experience.
• Proven capability in system and network hardening, vulnerability management, security configuration of different platforms and backup and recovery strategies.
• Experience implementing or managing security tools such as EDR, SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, and patch management systems.
• Familiarity with firewalls, VPNs, and secure network architectures / traffic analysis.
• Exposure to cloud security controls including identity and access governance, logging, and endpoint protection.
• Understanding of threat vectors, MITRE ATT&CK techniques, and defensive countermeasures.
• Understanding of key DFIR principles.
• Understading security related standards and frameworks.

Certifications (preferred but not mandatory):

• CompTIA Security+, Network+
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator / Windows Server Hybrid Administrator
• Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE
• Other vendor-neutral or security-specific certifications are considered a plus.

Skills and Attributes:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek and English.
• Proactive mindset, commitment to continuous improvement, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
