Overview:

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with experience in telephony systems, VoIP technologies, and call flow validation to ensure the reliability and performance of our communication platforms. The ideal candidate will work closely with development and support teams to design and execute comprehensive test plans that guarantee a seamless user experience across our telephony services.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for telephony and VoIP systems.
  • Validate SIP signaling, call routing, IVR workflows, voicemail, and call recording functionalities.
  • Perform regression, integration, and performance testing on PBX, SBC, and softswitch environments.
  • Analyze logs and network traces using tools like Wireshark or SIPp to identify and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain QA documentation including test cases, test results, and defect reports.
  • Ensure system scalability, stability, and compliance with SLA and quality standards.
  • Support release validation in staging and production environments.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of QA experience with telephony, VoIP, or unified communications systems.
  • Strong understanding of SIP, RTP, and related network protocols.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Python, Robot Framework, or Postman).
  • Knowledge of Linux environments and basic shell scripting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and documentation abilities.

Additional Skills (Advantageous):

  • Experience with CI/CD tools and version control (e.g., Jenkins, Git)
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Wireshark, SIPp, or similar network testing utilities.
  • Familiarity with PBX systems
