Front-End Software Engineer

At FlexLearn Business Solutions, we design and deliver innovative HR technology and learning cloud solutions that help organizations boost productivity, reduce costs, and strengthen employee engagement. We are growing our product team in Greece and looking for a Front-End Engineer to help us shape modern, intuitive web experiences for our clients.

You will be part of an agile engineering team, working closely with designers and back-end engineers to build scalable, responsive web applications. Your focus will be on implementing high-quality user interfaces with React and TypeScript, ensuring great performance and usability across devices and browsers.

This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in front-end development who wants to take ownership of features end-to-end and contribute to product decisions.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3 and Bootstrap.
  • Implement user-facing features based on UI/UX designs.
  • Integrate with REST APIs and collaborate with the back-end team to ensure smooth and secure data flow.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility and good performance of the front-end.
  • Apply best practices in code quality (components, hooks, reusable patterns) and participate in code reviews.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines to release features frequently and safely.
  • Stay up to date with modern front-end and React ecosystem trends and propose improvements to our stack and processes.

What you bring

  • Minimum 2–3 years of hands-on experience in front-end development in production environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, React and component-based architecture.
  • Solid experience with React hooks, context, functional components and state management patterns (e.g. React Query, Redux, or similar).
  • Very good understanding of DOM, events and browser APIs.
  • Strong skills in responsive design and cross-browser support.
  • Basic understanding of web security fundamentals (XSS, CSRF, CORS).
  • Experience working with Git and modern tooling.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team, communicate clearly, and take ownership of your work.
