5G Core Software Engineer

Within this framework we are looking for a talented and motivated 5G Core Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of next-generation telecom solutions. You will be part of a highly skilled engineering group working on cutting-edge 5G Core Network products built on Cloud Native architecture, designed for scalability, high availability, and performance.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, verify, integrate, deploy, and support advanced software for 5G Core Network products, covering domains from 5G Core applications to 5G NR (New Radio)
• Contribute to the design and implementation of Kubernetes-based products with high performance and reliability requirements
• Participate in automation of network functions and deployment processes
• Apply modern testing practices and troubleshooting techniques to continuously improve quality and efficiency across the DevOps pipeline
• Learn and evolve within a highly collaborative environment, gaining exposure to Cloud Native architecture, large-scale system design, contemporary programming paradigms, and Agile development methods

Requirements

• Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related discipline
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C++, or Python (experience with Reactive Java extensions and/or functional programming is a plus)
• Knowledge of scripting and Linux-based shell environments
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts, tools, and deployment methodologies
• Familiarity with software development environments and verification frameworks such as Eclipse, Visual Studio, JCAT/TestNG, GitHub, and Gerrit
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken
• At least two years of relevant software development experience

Nice to Have

• Professional experience in related fields
• Knowledge of cloud technologies and tools, RESTful APIs, containers, Docker, microservices, Kubernetes, Helm, and Spinnaker
• Understanding of telecommunication and/or IT network protocols
• Exposure to TCP, TLS, HTTP/2, JSON/YAML/XML
• Familiarity with Gen-AI tools
