About the Role 

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will spearhead quality assurance efforts focused on a modular, 

distributed enterprise platform. This position is pivotal in developing a comprehensive testing 

strategy that underpins both product reliability and engineering velocity. In addition to 

designing and executing test plans, you will drive the advancement of internal QA 

processes—defining standards, expanding automation coverage, and cultivating a quality-

centered culture across the organization. 

Key Responsibilities 

∙Define and implement test strategies for APIs, backend services, integration points, 

and data workflows 

∙Develop and maintain automated test suites to ensure ongoing product reliability 

∙Collaborate with engineering and product teams to define testable requirements and 

success metrics 

∙Design testing practices tailored to the challenges of distributed systems, data flows, 

and synchronization 

∙Identify, log, and manage defects throughout development and staging environments 

∙Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support rapid, confident releases 

∙Continuously evolve QA processes, standards, and quality governance frameworks 

Requirements 

∙5+ years of hands-on experience in QA engineering, with a strong emphasis on test 

automation 

∙Deep understanding of API testing, system integration, and data consistency 

validation 

∙Expertise in testing modular, distributed systems with asynchronous workflows 

∙Strong analytical and debugging skills, with a keen eye for edge cases and failure 

conditions 

∙Ability to define testing strategies in alignment with architectural and business 

priorities 

∙Experience working in agile, collaborative environments alongside developers, 

product managers, and DevOps teams 

Nice to Have 

∙Familiarity with integration testing frameworks, API testing tools, or system 

simulators 

∙Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated regression testing, and build verification 

∙Background in testing platforms involving metadata, event-driven logic, or workflow 

orchestration 

∙Exposure to industries such as retail, enterprise platforms, or multi-system 

integrations
