Tax Accountant

Scope:

We are looking for a Tax Accountant to join our General Ledger & Tax team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Process Group's monthly tax obligations, including the timely preparation, filing, and payment of taxes.
• Monthly reconciliation of all general ledger accounts and bank accounts.
• Perform regular bookkeeping activities in accordance with GR GAAP.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements under GR GAAP.
• Ensure compliance with tax obligations (myDATA), GR GAAP, and Group policies.
• Advise on tax issues on Group projects, provide support on everyday issues, advise regarding the issuance of the invoices, delivery notes etc..
• Support external auditors during year-end by providing required documentation.
• Perform fixed assets register maintenance.
• Prepare reports for management/ad hoc reports.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.

• MSc and/or professional qualifications will be considered an advantage.

• Minimum 4 years of experience working in a similar position.
• Familiar with local GAAP and tax legislation.
• Strong analytical and computer skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel.
• Strong attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and take on new tasks.

• Team working skills.

• Written and verbal communication skills.
