Head of Production

SOYA HELLAS SA, one of Greece's largest industrial and commercial companies, is seeking to hire a Head of Production & Processing Units (Chemical Engineer) for its industrial facility in Psachna, Evia.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement production schedules for units that handle core Chemical Engineering processes such as distillation, condensation, adsorption, filtration, and centrifugation.
• Ensure optimal performance of production lines and effective management of personnel.
• Collaborate closely with the production manager to continually enhance systems, reduce costs, and increase productivity.
• Plan and oversee the preventive maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Manage and expedite repairs, ensuring equipment is restored promptly, and maintain the availability of necessary parts and materials.
• Enforce workplace safety and hygiene standards in line with current legislation, while managing documents related to operating licenses and certifications (ISO, HACCP, etc.).
• Supervise and manage machinery operations and adjustments in coordination with operators and shift supervisors.
• Assess and evaluate team performance and productivity.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• A minimum of three (3) years of experience in an industrial setting (preferred)
• Excellent proficiency in English
• Advanced computer literacy, including AutoCAD skills
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Initiative, with a strong focus on achieving results
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• High sense of responsibility, reliability, and professionalism
• Relocation to Central Evia or nearby areas is required.
• Completed military service (for male candidates)
