OverviewMicrosoft 365 continues to experience incredible growth as the company focuses on its productivity cloud strategy and enabling secure remote work for its customers. As part of Microsoft Engineering, The FastTrack team has a primary role driving this strategy and is looking for individuals that share the passion to drive business value and customer success through the use of Microsoft 365 and related technologies.
Overview:
The FastTrack team is looking for a FastTrack Architect (FTA) to support a portfolio of enterprise customers to deploy the Microsoft 365 suite aligned by three solution areas: Copilot, Security and Compliance and Windows 365. In partnership with the Microsoft field sales and services team,this role supports customers to transform their business and IT environment through adoption and usage of Microsoft 365.
QualificationsA suitable candidate for the FastTrack Architect role is a technically deep leader with proven experience in applying AI-driven capabilities, Microsoft 365 security and deployment, capable of driving strategic customer engagements, influencing cross-functional teams, and delivering secure, high-impact solutions across enterprise environments.
Required:
- Strong leadership skills, strategic and critical thinking as well as technical expertise on Microsoft 365 deployment and products
- Excellent customer communication skills and ability to collaborate within and outside Microsoft while dealing with Senior technical and business leaders.
- Technical proficiency of the Microsoft 365 Copilot (Intermediate level across M365 suite, Expert level on at least one workload (Modern Management, Data Security or Threat Protection)
- Expertise and Ability to explain technical scenarios, roadmap, key solutions, and technical architectures supported by Microsoft 365.
- Great customer facing skills including the ability to rapidly establish and maintain personal and organizational credibility with Customers and Partners through deep delivery knowledge and effective communication.
- Proven track record delivering on team revenue or usage targets.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with field and product teams to ensure customer success.
- Microsoft 365 planning and deployment experience with enterprise customers.
- Expertise and ability to explain key solutions and technical architectures in Microsoft 365 and associated technologies.
- Growth mindset: drive to stay up to date with changes to enterprise technology.
- Travel up to 25%.
- 4 to 10+ years technical consulting, IT administration, support, project management, customer success management, or related work.
Preferred:
- Enterprise-scale experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management.
- One of the following:
- Professional experience as a senior technical resource with regular customer interactions
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Computer Science
- Engage and develop deep relationship with Microsoft enterprise customers to accelerate their adoption of AI and security within Microsoft 365, ensuring they get the full value of their Microsoft 365 investment.
- Becone a trusted technical advisor to identify and drive customer intent, translate it into actionable deployment plans, provide technical deployment guidance and best practices, gain customer commitment to execute, overcome hurdles and delays and deliver secure, AI-driven solutions that maximize business value while mitigating risk.
- Orchestrate across FastTrack resources, Partners and Microsoft field teams, ensuring rapid deployment and adoption of Microsoft 365 services to achieve the highest return on investment for the customer.
- Serve as the chief deployment coordinator, demonstrating both technical expertise and strategic leadership.
- Identify customer deployment, revenue and transformational opportunities through consistently evaluating the customer environment, engaging with customer business and technical leaders, coordinaging with the customer account teams and delivering briefings on relevant technical solutions and strategies.
