Rebates Analyst

Why this role exists

The Rebates Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the effective implementation of credit control policies and processes for existing customers. This role exists to safeguard compliance, accuracy, and timeliness in rebate management, while also supporting healthy customer relationships and the company's overall financial performance.

Main Responsibilities

• Leading the correct calculation of discounts to customers and achieve balances reconciliation on a regular base
• Keeping up to date customer discounts records
• Exercise appropriate controls to minimize disputed rebates
• Accountable for all aspects of the rebates / discounts process including submissions, error resolution, variance reporting,
• Monthly reporting of the Key Performance Indicators for the department
• Introducing and evolving effective reporting and assessment tools to minimize risk and proactively identify problem areas
• Maintaining customer credit files and monitor credit granting process

Skills and Experience

• University degree in Finance. Master's would be considered an asset
• Minimum 1-2 years of previous experience in similar position with ideally experience in a FMCG environment, working with big retail customers
• Fluency in both Greek and English
• IT Literacy
