Spares Officer

based in Marousi is seeking to hire a
Spares Officer
for its Spares Department.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor Degree in Shipping
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in Spares & Forwarding Dpt of a shipping company
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Fluency in English (both written and spoken) and computer literacy
• Familiar with BENEFIT program

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving/checking vessel's requisition
• Reviewing requested items in ERP (amend and/or entry same in case of missing from machinery ERP, in coordination with Technical Dpt)
• Gather quotations from suppliers
• Evaluation of all quotations
• Organizing and coordinating purchasing
• Arranging forwarding
• Verifying delivery on board and receiving respective deliveries from vessels
• Processing invoices for payment
