We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled Deskside Support Specialist to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will provide excellent technical support, ensuring the smooth operation of our technology for all employees, including our VIP executive staff. This role requires a proactive approach, strong technical proficiency across various platforms, and exceptional customer service skills. The role is on-site office based role, Mon – Fri, 09:00AM to 17:00PM. The role is based in Marousi, Athens so candidates are advised to ensure that the location works for them before applying.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective Tier 1 and Tier 2 deskside technical support to all end-users (in-person and remote).
  • Deliver dedicated VIP Executive Support, maintaining the highest level of professionalism and discretion.
  • Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain hardware, software, and peripheral devices, with a focus on the Microsoft Technology Stack (Windows OS, Office 365, etc.).
  • Perform diagnostics and repairs for laptop hardware (e.g. Lenovo) and Audio Visual (AV) equipment (e.g., meeting room systems, projectors).
  • Support and troubleshoot Cisco and HP Networking issues (basic connectivity, port activation, and configuration checks).
  • Actively participate in IT projects, from planning through to execution.
  • Manage the asset lifecycle of IT equipment, including procurement, deployment, tracking, and disposal.
  • Assist with IT audit preparation and execution, ensuring compliance and data accuracy.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation of support tickets, assets, and procedures with great attention to detail.
  • Proactively monitor and maintain the IT environment to identify and resolve potential issues before they impact users.
Required Qualifications & Experience
  • BSc of equivalent in IT degree
  • Minimum of 1 year of professional experience working in a Deskside, Helpdesk, or IT Support role.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the Microsoft Technology Stack (Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365/Office 365 applications, Exchange/Outlook).
  • Experience with basic troubleshooting of Cisco Networking and HP Networking infrastructure.
  • Proven technical expertise in troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of laptop hardware and Audio Visual (AV) equipment.
  • Prior experience in providing VIP Executive Support is highly preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Must be able to work proactively on their own and manage time effectively, as well as being a collaborative member of a team.
  • Familiarity with concepts and execution in Project Management, Asset Management, and IT Audit processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high attention to detail in all tasks and documentation.
