Senior Sales Engineer
to join our team.
Role Overview
As Senior Sales Engineer, you will play a key role in driving sales of marine and ship equipment by combining your strong engineering background with commercial acumen. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining client relationships, identifying opportunities, and ensuring the delivery of tailored solutions that meet the technical and operational needs of our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and grow sales of marine equipment and solutions in the assigned markets
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients, ensuring the right solutions are proposed
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and proposals to negotiation and closing
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, shipyards, and technical managers
- Collaborate with principals/suppliers to align on technical specifications and commercial terms
- Stay updated on market trends, new regulations, and emerging technologies
- Represent the company at exhibitions, conferences, and customer visits, both locally and internationally
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related technical field
- At least 5 years of experience in technical sales in the shipping sector
- Proven ability to sell complex engineering products and solutions to both technical and non-technical clients
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and product development processes
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear value propositions for clients
- Excellent command of English language
- Willingness to travel as needed to attend industry events
