The Role in a Nutshell  

As a Manual Tester, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and functionality of software applications. You will be responsible for executing test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality products. Your attention to detail and systematic approach will contribute to the overall success of the software development lifecycle.

Your Day-to-Day 

  • Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project specifications.
  • Execute test cases to identify software defects and ensure adherence to quality standards.
  • Perform functional, regression, and system testing as needed.
  • Document and report defects, providing clear and detailed information for developers to facilitate resolution.
  • Maintain test documentation and ensure it is up-to-date with the latest product changes.
  • Provide input into the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the software development and testing processes.
  • Create, design and maintain test plans
  • Develop test acceptance criteria
  • Create, design and maintain test scripts and test data
  • Prepare and plan the test environments
Your Key Strengths
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of testing procedures and platforms
  • Proven experience as a Manual Tester or similar role.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Manual testing techniques and methodologies.
