Cloud Security Specialist (5912/CSS/ESS/GR)

Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Security Stra
    tegy: Develop and adapt cloud security strategies for Azure and AWS that align with business goals and evolving threat landscapes.
  • Azure & AWS Security Architect
    ure: Design and implement security frameworks using native tools (e.g., Azure Sentinel, Security Center, AWS Security Hub, GuardDuty,IAM).
  • Security Assessment & Risk Manage
    ment: Perform vulnerability assessments, gap analyses, and recommend remediation strategies to strengthen cloud environments.
  • Policy & Compliance Develop
    ment: Create and enforce security policies and procedures that meet industry standards and client-specific cloud requirements.
  • Incident Response & Manage
    ment: Build response plans using tools like Azure Sentinel and AWS CloudWatch to detect and respond to threats efficiently.
  • Training & Enable
    ment: Educate and support client IT teams on best practices for cloud security, with clear documentation and guidance.
  • Security Integrat
    ion: Ensure seamless integration of security tools across Azure and AWS platforms for unified protection.
  • Monitoring & Threat Detec
    tion: Establish continuous monitoring systems to enable real-time threat detection and automated responses.
  • Documentation & Repor
    ting: Maintain detailed records of security configurations and incidents; deliver reports with actionable insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • Proven hands-on experience with Azure Sentinel, Azure security services, and core AWS security tools (e.g., IAM, GuardDuty, CloudTrail).
  • Solid understanding of standards like NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, and HIPAA across multi-cloud environments.
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, AWS CLI) for automating cloud security tasks.
  • Ability to solve complex security issues and stay updated on cloud threats and trends.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to engage with both clients and internal stakeholders in a multi-cloud context.
