Role Mission

We are seeking a
College Sports Recruiting Coordinator/Advisor
to act as the key link between student-athletes, families, coaches, and universities — and a
closer
who converts interest into signed clients. The role requires empathy, persuasiveness, organization, and hands-on problem solving to guide families through applications, documentation, and university enrollment. The Advisor will meet clients regularly
in person and via Zoom/online
and support AZ events.

Key Responsibilities

Outreach & Sales:
Build and qualify a pipeline via email/WhatsApp/phone/social; run consultations and
close
new client agreements.

Profiles & Packaging:
Create and maintain athlete profiles (athletic & academic); explore
combined
athletic + academic scholarship packaging with admissions/financial aid.

University Relations & Negotiation:
Promote athletes to college coaches, coordinate calls/visits, and lead scholarship/service
negotiations
.

Client Meetings & Communication:
Hold regular meetings
in person and via Zoom/online
; keep families aligned with clear agendas, recaps, and next steps.

Process & Documentation:
Manage applications, forms, documentation, and registrations end-to-end until successful university enrollment.

Events (Ops + Sales):
Plan and support AZ events (soccer showcases, swimming camps, other sports events) across GR/CY/US: logistics, registrations, onsite ops, and pre/onsite sales.

Requirements

Background:

Former U.S. student-athlete

(highly preferred) or proven counseling/placement experience in US Universities

Languages:
Excellent Greek & English (written and spoken).

Communication:
Empathetic, clear communicator; calm under pressure.

Sales:
Own the new-business pipeline (outreach → consult → proposal → close); comfortable with targets/quotas; proven closing record.

Organization:
Strong project & time management; attention to detail across documents and deadlines.

Digital:
Google Drive, Presentations, Canva, CRM/ATS; basic social media (stories/posts/simple video edits).

Meetings:
Available for frequent in-person meetings/events; also flexible for Zoom/online.

Nice to Have

Prior experience in college counseling, admissions, or athlete recruiting.

Established network with Greek/Cypriot athletes and U.S. coaches/admissions.

Experience running ID camps, showcases, or club events.
