Role Overview
The General Manager of Kenshō Paros is the property's chief executive on-site, responsible for the hotel's profitability, operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and global positioning as one of Greece's most distinguished luxury boutique destinations.
This role demands a visionary leader who blends strategic business acumen with a hands-on, guest-centric approach, ensuring that every element of the Kenshō experience — from design and gastronomy to wellness and personalized service — consistently reflects the brand's philosophy of timeless luxury, contemporary elegance, and authentic Greek hospitality.
As the brand ambassador, the GM represents Kenshō in all internal and external forums, aligning the property with ownership expectations while maintaining its unique identity within the competitive international luxury landscape.
- Full accountability for P&L performance, ensuring sustainable profitability while maintaining the highest luxury standards.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, aligning with ownership's strategic vision.
- Optimize revenue streams across Rooms, Gastronomy, Spa/Wellness, and exclusive lifestyle services, with a strong emphasis on yield management and direct bookings.
- Partner with the sales and marketing teams to drive brand visibility, elite guest acquisition, and loyalty-building strategies, targeting UHNWIs, luxury travelers, and key international markets.
- Maintain a careful balance of cost control and investment, ensuring profitability without compromising guest experience.
- Lead all aspects of daily hotel operations, ensuring seamless collaboration across departments.
- Uphold and refine SOPs and brand standards, aligning service delivery with the Kenshō philosophy of curated, personalized luxury.
- Ensure that every guest interaction is transformed into a bespoke experience, from pre-arrival communications to post-stay loyalty.
- Actively engage with guests, including VIPs and repeat clientele, addressing needs with empathy, discretion, and grace.
- Monitor guest feedback platforms and luxury hospitality benchmarks (LQA, Forbes, etc.) to ensure continuous service excellence.
- Safeguard and enhance Kenshō Paros' positioning as a design-driven, experiential luxury destination.
- Collaborate with the marketing and PR teams to strengthen global brand recognition and maintain a compelling storytelling approach across all channels.
- Cultivate partnerships with luxury brands, local artisans, and cultural institutions, elevating the Kenshō guest experience while embedding authenticity and local identity.
- Stay ahead of hospitality and luxury lifestyle trends, ensuring Kenshō Paros remains an innovator in boutique luxury.
- Build and inspire a high-performance executive team, fostering accountability, creativity, and excellence.
- Conduct regular leadership briefings to align strategy, operations, and guest experience priorities.
- Mentor and develop talent across all levels, cultivating a culture of empowerment, inclusivity, and continuous learning.
- Promote the Kenshō ethos internally, ensuring employees embody the values of authenticity, elegance, and heartfelt service.
- Oversee capital projects, renovations, and property upkeep, ensuring facilities reflect Kenshō's design-led identity and international luxury standards.
- Nurture strong relationships with vendors, partners, and local communities, supporting sustainable and ethical practices.
- Represent Kenshō Paros with local authorities, tourism boards, and global hospitality networks, elevating the property's reputation as a Greek luxury icon.
