Role Description
This is a full-time role based in Piraeus for a Claims Technician. The Claims Technician will be responsible for handling and managing claims, ensuring efficient processing and resolution. Daily tasks include communicating with Members, underwriters, and other stakeholders to gather necessary documentation and information, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records of claims. The role requires close collaboration with other departments and a proactive approach in investigating and resolving claims issues.
Person Specification
- Experience in Claims Handling and Claims Management
- Familiar with shipping terminology
- Experience of working for a Shipowner or a Ship management company
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills
- Knowledge of P&I Club
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor's degree is preferred
