Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role, based in Athens, for a Lighting Technician. The Lighting Technician will be responsible for designing, programming, and operating lighting systems for events and installations, ensuring their technical efficiency and aesthetics. Daily tasks include set-up, maintenance, and troubleshooting of lighting equipment, collaborating with the production team to execute creative visions, and ensuring safety compliance in all lighting operations. The role involves working closely with designers and other technical staff to create extraordinary lighting experiences for events and environments.

Qualifications

  • Experience with lighting design, operation, and programming across various systems and technologies
  • Strong technical expertise in troubleshooting and maintaining lighting equipment
  • Familiarity with rigging, wiring, and the safe installation of lighting fixtures
  • Collaborative skills to work effectively with designers, production teams, and technical staff
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to dynamic event environments
  • Knowledge of safety regulations related to stage and event lighting
  • Proven experience in live event production or architectural lighting projects is advantageous
  • Relevant certifications, such as a degree in technical production or equivalent practical experience, preferred
