Egnatia Aviation is at the forefront of aviation training and maintenance, operating from Greece's first private General Aviation aerodrome, Lydia. As we continue to expand our capabilities, we are seeking an experienced and dedicated Aircraft Maintenance Manager to lead our aircraft maintenance operations in full compliance with EASA regulatory requirements.

In this critical leadership role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all maintenance is performed on time, to the highest standards, and in accordance with approved company procedures and regulatory requirements. This role requires a proactive leader who can manage teams, ensure compliance, and drive continuous improvement within the maintenance department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure satisfactory completion and certification of all maintenance work as per approved procedures and work specifications.
  • Guarantee compliance with organizational procedures and EASA standards during all maintenance activities.
  • Manage and ensure the competence of all maintenance personnel.
  • Address and respond to quality deficiencies identified during independent audits.
  • Ensure that workmanship and maintenance standards meet organizational and regulatory expectations.
  • Implement and promote the company's safety and human factors policy.
  • Ensure appropriate maintenance facilities, tools, equipment, and materials are available.
  • Maintain oversight of the Store House and ensure effective resource planning and production scheduling.
  • Ensure availability of sufficient competent personnel and up-to-date maintenance data.
  • Notify relevant managers of any financial or manpower deficiencies impacting maintenance standards.
  • Oversee proper documentation, work card systems, and technical record storage.
Requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Aeronautical Engineering (or an equivalent qualification recognized by the HCAA), or a valid EASA Part-66 B1/B2 License.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 3 years in a management or supervisory role.
  • Thorough knowledge of EASA regulations, maintenance practices, and safety standards.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in maintenance management systems and documentation.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record of process improvement and change management.
  • Proficient in English (both written and spoken) and comfortable with modern technology and digital tools.
