Civil Foreman

MSKAT, a prominent construction company specializing in civil works and infrastructure projects, is looking for a skilled and experienced Civil Foreman to join our team. The site refers to a civil infrastructure project in Motor Oil Hellas in Corinth Refineries.

The Civil Foreman will be responsible for overseeing daily operations on the construction site, ensuring that work is completed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with project specifications. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our exciting projects while leading a dedicated team.

• Supervise and coordinate construction activities on site, ensuring compliance with design specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards
• Manage daily work schedules, assign tasks to team members, and ensure efficient work processes
• Monitor site progress and report any issues or delays to project management
• Lead and motivate a team of skilled laborers, ensuring maximum productivity and adherence to safety protocols
• Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and verify that work meets quality and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
• Assist in maintaining project documentation, including daily reports, safety records, and other relevant paperwork
• Ensure that all team members are properly trained in safety practices and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction or civil engineering is a plus
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods, materials, and safety regulations
• Proven ability to manage and lead a team effectively
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
• Proficient in site management software and tools
• Commitment to promoting a safe working environment
