Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como aims to be one of the most exclusive resorts in Europe, representing the true Italian elegance and understated luxury experience for a global clientele. Located on the stunning shores of Lake Como, our resort combines natural beauty, contemporary design, and the legendary service of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

We are currently seeking a Waiter/Waitress to join our passionate Food & Beverage team for the 2026 season.

Main Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome and greet guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.

  • Present menus, explain dishes, and provide personalized recommendations, including wine pairing.

  • Anticipate guest needs to deliver the Legendary Quality Experience in line with MOHG standards.

  • Handle guest feedback and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.

  • Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all service equipment and areas.

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth and elegant service.

  • Attend daily briefings and training sessions as required.

  • Comply with all Health & Safety and HACCP standards.

Requirements

Mandatory

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a luxury hotel or resort.

  • Excellent command of English (spoken and written).

  • Exceptional communication and guest service skills.

  • Professional appearance and impeccable manners.

  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.

  • Passion for hospitality and fine dining.

Desirable

  • HACCP certification.

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality or Tourism.

  • International working experience.

  • Wine course certification.
