Mandarin Oriental, Lago di Como aims to be one of the most exclusive resorts in Europe, representing the true Italian elegance and understated luxury experience for a global clientele. Located on the stunning shores of Lake Como, our resort combines natural beauty, contemporary design, and the legendary service of Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.
We are currently seeking a Waiter/Waitress to join our passionate Food & Beverage team for the 2026 season.
Main Responsibilities
Warmly welcome and greet guests, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
Present menus, explain dishes, and provide personalized recommendations, including wine pairing.
Anticipate guest needs to deliver the Legendary Quality Experience in line with MOHG standards.
Handle guest feedback and complaints in a professional and courteous manner.
Maintain cleanliness and presentation of all service equipment and areas.
Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth and elegant service.
Attend daily briefings and training sessions as required.
Comply with all Health & Safety and HACCP standards.
Requirements
Mandatory
Minimum 2 years of experience in a luxury hotel or resort.
Excellent command of English (spoken and written).
Exceptional communication and guest service skills.
Professional appearance and impeccable manners.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
Passion for hospitality and fine dining.
Desirable
HACCP certification.
Diploma or degree in Hospitality or Tourism.
International working experience.
Wine course certification.
