Context:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be in charge of Quality and Environmental Management System, thus guaranteeing the quality, costs and delivery time of products and services, in line with health, safety and environmental rules.

Applying and maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards, being responsible for the respective risk management and developing QSE roadmaps to drive continuous improvement and regulatory compliance, will be a key mission.

The position is a hands on position with daily interactions with internal and external stakeholders, that is customers, and therefore requires a team player and customer satisfaction mindset, along with excellent communication skills and technical expertise.

In addition, the QSE leader will also contribute to making employees aware of the customers' expectations and identify the improvement points in customer service.

Main Responsibilities:

Operational implementation of Quality, Safety and Environmental Policy:

Implement and enforce the company's quality and safety standards and policies. Manage the qualification process for new products. Conduct and review routine quality control tests. Lead the implementation of safety tool. Is responsible for implementing daily safety practices, for risk assessment and deployment of emergency response plans. Oversee waste and scrap management to ensure environmental compliance and operational efficiency.

Quality management system:

Translate the company policies and vision into objectives. Ensures the implementation and the consistency (relevant data) of dashboards. Is responsible for the maintenance and calibration of quality control (QC) equipment and manage the local documentation relating to the QSE Management system.

Continuous improvement and customer satisfaction:

Perform problem solving analysis and improve standards. Analyzes effective progresses and give feedback to key people. Conduct benchmark to identify new solutions. Implement 5S methodology. Manage the local audit plan and do QSE audits. Focus on customer expectations and follow up the customer service, thus identifying improvement points.

Skills and Qualifications:

• BsC & Master's degree in engineering domain
• At least 2-3 years in an operational position in a plant
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP is a plus
• Fluent (in writing and speaking) in Greek and English language
• Experience on fiber optic testing equipment (OTDR, splicing) is a plus
• Focus on applying standards
• Auditing skills and passion for deploying and monitoring key indicators
• Ability to continuously improve and influencing skills
• Be a team player
