On behalf of our clients we are looking for an eager and talented Audit Assistant to join and support the Audit Team in delivering exceptional services to our clients. As an integral part of the audit team you will be at the forefront of ensuring financial accuracy and integrity within organizations.

Our client is member of one of the Leading Global Networks delivering Audit, Advisory and Tax services to numerous organizations, driven by the highest standards and unwavering passion.

What will keep you busy:

  • Participate in a wide range of external audits and other assurance engagements.
  • Assist in planning audits by gathering relevant data, reviewing prior audit information, and understanding audit objectives.
  • Collect financial data and other information required for audits.
  • Collaborate with teams of highly qualified and motivated professionals to understand processes and gain necessary information for audit activities.
  • Provide general support to senior auditors and take on additional responsibilities as required.
  • Interact with clients when necessary to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Deliver exceptional client services with a focus on quality and responsiveness.
  • Work seamlessly with other service lines and practice areas to offer comprehensive services.
  • Uphold the highest standards of business ethics in all activities.
  • Ensure all work is accurate, thorough, and completed to the highest professional standards.
  • Stay up to date with changes in relevant laws and regulations to ensure audits are conducted accurately.
  • Contribute to the development of recommendations for minimizing potential risks.
  • Suggest improvements to audit practices and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Participate in professional development and training opportunities to stay updated with auditing practices and regulations.

How we imagine you:

  • Holder of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Auditing, Business, Risk Management, or a related field. A Master's degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, or Economics) will be considered a strong asset.
  • Experience of min 1 year in auditing or accounting.
  • Familiar with accounting standards such as Greek GAAP and/or IFRS. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and deliver high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced and results-driven team environment. Adaptability to audit methodologies and documentation standards.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities, with a focus on accuracy and problem-solving.
  • Well-developed organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and handle competing priorities effectively.
