UI/UX Designer

About the Job

We are looking for a UI/UX Designer to join our team building an innovative enterprise platform that serves clients across Europe. Our software powers critical applications in climate risk assessment, content management, enterprise security, and geospatial data modeling.

What makes us different: our architecture automatically generates user interfaces from data definitions, eliminating the traditional development bottleneck between backend and frontend teams. This approach allows us to ship features significantly faster than conventional development while maintaining high quality.

You'll be designing universal component systems that adapt to any data structure. One table component you design will handle 30+ different resource types. One form system will work across all data models. Your design decisions have exponential impact. A single component might be instantiated hundreds of times across different contexts and products.

Modern web technologies with a focus on component-based architecture, Material Design principles, and cloud infrastructure. We manage everything from financial portfolios worth millions to geospatial datasets covering entire countries through a single, elegant interface system.

Responsibilities

• Design universal component systems (tables, forms, filters, dashboards) that adapt to different data types, relationships, and contexts without custom coding for each use case

• Create data-intensive dashboards with pivot-based analytics, drag-and-drop layouts (GridStack), and visualizations that make complex data understandable and actionable

• Build and maintain a multi-product design system serving climate risk, content management, security, and survey applications, each with unique branding while sharing core UI patterns

•]Design complex relationship management interfaces, advanced filter builders, bulk action systems, audit logs, translation tools, and discussion threads

• Create specialized interfaces for geospatial data (map visualizations, shapefile uploads), climate scenarios, risk distributions, and data export workflows

• Develop theming systems for white-label deployments where different clients get customized branding from a single codebase

• Design both admin SPA experiences (full CRUD, advanced filtering, comprehensive dashboards) and public SSR experiences (SEO-optimized content)

• Collaborate closely with developers throughout design and implementation, understanding technical constraints and creating solutions that balance user needs with feasibility

• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions and iterate based on feedback

• Establish design processes and documentation that help the team work efficiently

Requirements

Must Have:

• 3-5+ years professional UI/UX design experience with portfolio showcasing complex application design, particularly dashboards, data visualization, and enterprise SaaS

• Expert proficiency in Figma (component libraries, variants, auto-layout, prototyping)

• Proven experience building and maintaining comprehensive design systems

• Strong information architecture skills for organizing complex functionality intuitively

• Deep understanding of responsive design principles and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)

• Ability to read JSON structures and understand REST APIs, data types, relationships, and database concepts

• Knowledge of CSS grid systems, flexbox, and modern layout techniques

• Understanding of frontend state management and how data flows through applications

• Systems thinking: designing patterns that scale across contexts rather than one-off solutions

• Excellent communication skills for articulating design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders

•  Comfortable working in agile environments with iterative design and regular releases

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Material Design principles

• Background in B2B enterprise software, especially fintech, GIS, or analytics domains

• Experience designing multi-tenant platforms or white-label products with theming systems

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript framework component architectures (Vue, React, Angular)

• Knowledge of data visualization libraries , , Plotly) or dashboard layout systems

• Understanding of design tokens and systematic approach to design variables

• Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating feedback

• Basic understanding of database concepts and relationships
