Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a
Freight Forwarder
located in the Athens airport area. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating
air cargo transportation
, ensuring timely, accurate, and cost-efficient delivery of shipments. Daily tasks include managing export and forwarding processes, preparing and verifying shipping documentation, and maintaining compliance with all relevant transport and customs regulations. You will handle customer inquiries, monitor shipment progress, and maintain effective communication with clients, airlines, and logistics partners. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize multiple shipments, and a proactive approach to resolving logistics challenges and meeting client-specific requirements.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Minimum of 1–3 years of proven experience in Air Freight Forwarding or a similar logistics role
• Strong knowledge of air freight procedures
  , freight transportation, and export operations
• Proficiency in
  forwarding documentation
  , including AWBs, export declarations, and related logistics paperwork
• Excellent command of the
  English language
  , both written and verbal
• Strong customer service skills and the ability to develop and maintain positive client relationships
• High attention to detail and accuracy in handling documentation and shipment data
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple shipments while ensuring regulatory compliance and timely delivery
• Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners
• Proficiency with logistics-related software and digital tools (e.g., freight management systems, tracking platforms, MS Office)
• Availability to work
  on-site in Athens (airport area)
  and flexibility to adapt to the dynamic demands of the logistics and air freight industry
