About the opportunity

Are you interested in training as a Speaking Examiner for Cambridge University Press & Assessment? If so, the Hellenic American Union, leader in exams organization and administration, and official Cambridge Exam Center, is looking for persons suitable to administer Cambridge speaking tests to learners of English.

Minimum requirements

  • Based in Greece
  • First degree in a related field (e.g. BA in English or equivalent)
    and
    at least 5 years
    recent relevant EFL teaching experience
  • Recognised language teaching qualification
  • C2-level command of English
  • Ability to handle multiple activities simultaneously while using technology
  • Ability to work well with
    young ages

Main tasks

  • Participate in relevant training and retraining sessions, receiving guidance and advice provided by the Hellenic American Union and Cambridge University Press & Assessment.
  • Conduct speaking tests for learners of English, based on specific evaluation criteria
  • Ensure a consistent and accurate assessment of candidates' linguistic performance, in accordance with Cambridge University Press & Assessment guidelines.
  • Maintain the confidentiality and security of examination materials and candidate data.
