ELPEDISON, with its two privately-owned power plants in Thisvi (Voiotia) and Thessaloniki, with a total installed capacity of 820 MW, uses natural gas as fuel and ensures a clean and continuous electricity flow, based on a highly environmentally-friendly power generation process.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Treasury Officer , who will have the responsibility to support the Treasury Section Manager in managing the Company's liquidity and banking relationships. The role involves monitoring short and long term debt obligations,  preparing and maintaining  treasury, insurance and financial reports, and  ensuring the efficient execution of treasury operations in alignment with the Company's overall financial strategy.

What you will do:

• Monitor daily cash positions and ensure adequate liquidity across all accounts.
• Preparation of cash flow forecasts and variance analysis.
• Execute treasury transactions including transfers and investments.
• Handle all the administrative communication and documentation for the legalization, the opening and closing of bank accounts and other banking related issues for Greece and Abroad.
• Monitor the short and long term debt and prepare the relevant documentation.
• Monitor the guarantees issued by the company to Electricity System Operators , Gas Suppliers and other third parties / vendors (for Greece and Abroad), communicating requests to interested parties and prepare the relevant documentation for the guarantee issuance.
• Monitor the guarantees issued by the Company's customers by reviewing relevant documentation, tracking expiration dates, taking appropriate actions and ensuring timely communication with the relevant departments
• Monitor the Company's financial costs.
• Assist on the Company's treasury and insurance activities and the daily operation.
• Review bank and other administrative financial or insurance agreements.
• Prepare, develop and maintain daily, monthly and ad hoc financial and treasury reports and presentations, supports for the budget reports and, communicates with internal and external stakeholders (banks, insurance brokers e.t.c) when needed.

What you will need in order to succeed:

• A BSc in Finance, Accounting or other relevant fields.
• Postgraduate degree in Accounting or Finance will be considered an asset.
• 3+ years of relevant working experience in Treasury, Finance or Banking (preferably within the energy sector).
• Proficient English speaker.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.).
• Advanced communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizing and planning skills.
• Analytical, numerical and good reasoning ability.
• Proactive approach.
• Sound commercial understanding and strategic thinking.
