At IANIC, we design the infrastructure of our shared living space—the "City of Today". More specifically, we develop its digital brain: SmartVille, an Integrated IoT & AI Management Information System that enables the control of digital meters and sensors across all sectors of a smart, autonomous city.

SmartVille brings together data from smart devices, telecommunications networks and analytics tools to deliver decision-making and automation services that support the community's modern operational needs and digital transformation.

At IANIC, we push the boundaries of IoT and Big Data to deliver the most innovative, reliable software on the market. For this reason, we are seeking an Android Developer to join our team of software engineers, AI researchers and industry experts to collaboratively develop cutting-edge solutions for the IoT sector.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and maintain Android applications.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design and implement new features.
  • Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and external data sources.
  • Ensure optimal performance, stability and security of applications.
  • Write clean, testable and maintainable code.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in mobile development.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα:

Requirements

  • Proven professional experience in Android app development.
  • Strong knowledge of the Android SDK and Android design principles.
  • Good command of Kotlin.
  • Experience working with RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Experience with architectural patterns (e.g., MVVM) and Android Jetpack components.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of iOS development (Swift/Objective-C).
  • Experience with Jetpack Compose and modern UI frameworks.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
