As a Treasury Manager, you will be responsible for managing the company's liquidity and working capital to ensure financial stability and optimal cash utilization. You will oversee all treasury operations, including cash flow management, banking relationships, intercompany financing, and payment systems, while ensuring compliance with internal policies and driving efficient financial processes. Leading a team, you will play a key role in monitoring daily cash flow, optimizing payment cycles, negotiating with banks, and implementing innovative solutions to enhance treasury performance.
Responsibilities:
Liquidity & Cash Flow Management
- Oversee daily, weekly, and monthly cash flow planning and forecasting.
- Manage liquidity and working capital, ensuring alignment between receivables, payables, and short-term investments.
- Supervise and approve the execution of payment schedules, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Banking & Financial Relationships
- Maintain effective relationships with banks and financial institutions.
- Monitor lending plans, manage loan renewals, repayments, and refinancing.
- Negotiate bank and service fees to optimize costs.
- Implement new banking technologies and products to improve cash cycles and streamline operations.
Team Leadership & Internal Coordination
- Lead and develop a treasury team of 10 people.
- Collaborate closely with other departments (Imports, Accounting, Invoice Control, Cashier) on treasury-related matters.
- Review and approve daily payment requests, cheque issuance, and other treasury transactions.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports (e.g., credit card costs, supplier payment performance).
- Monitor KPIs and establish regular treasury reporting to management.
Credit Control & Collections
- Supervise credit checks for new customers and oversee the implementation of credit policies.
- Monitor collection processes and ensure timely follow-up on receivables.
- Collaborate with B2B and Finance teams to manage credit limits and payment terms.
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
- Evaluate and implement new payment methods and fintech solutions.
- Continuously review and improve treasury systems, tools, and processes.
Qualificatons:
- 3–5 years of experience as a Treasury Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Proven experience in liquidity management, cash forecasting, and banking operations.
- Proficient in SAP and modern payment solutions.
- Experience in the Retail industry will be considered an asset.
- Excellent command of Greek and English.
- Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated leadership, integrity, and reliability.
- Excellent planning, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
