On behalf of our client, a dynamic and high-energy hospitality & food & beverage group launching a globally loved juice and coffee bar concept in Greece, we are looking for an experienced and hands-on HR Manager to join the founding HQ team.

Rooted in Scandinavian culture, this brand is known for its bold personality, vibrant customer experience, and people-first philosophy. As Greek operations scale, this role will be instrumental in setting HR foundations that are strategic, compliant, and team-driven from day one.

What You'll Do

Workforce Strategy & Shift Planning

• Lead end-to-end workforce planning and shift scheduling using HQ forecasts and market analytics.
• Review and optimize shift plans weekly, ensuring alignment with budget and productivity KPIs.
• Monitor and report on shift performance indicators such as salary ratios and schedule efficiency.

Team Progression & Development

• Collaborate with Training and Regional Managers to track and support team development.
• Monitor workforce KPIs (turnover, retention) and implement improvement actions.
• Drive motivation and structure to elevate in-store performance.

Recruitment & Onboarding

• Own the centralized recruitment process, coordinating with field management on staffing needs.
• Promote diversity and inclusion, and ensure smooth onboarding and proper data integration.

Employee Experience (MQ Focus)

• Leverage internal MQ tools to analyze team engagement and satisfaction.
• Promote feedback culture, boost MQ participation, and act on market trends.
• Champion employee voice and workplace meaning through structured dialogue.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure legal compliance in contracts, terminations, payroll, and HR policies.
• Train managers in proper procedures to minimize risk.
• Oversee all HR documentation via digital systems (e.g. Workplanner).

Data Ownership & Compensation

• Maintain full employee records, from contracts to evaluations.
• Monitor performance-based pay via "Moneyball" framework and ensure progress transparency.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of HR generalist experience, ideally in hospitality, retail, or F&B chains.
• Strong understanding of Greek labor law and compliance processes.
• Proficiency in HR systems (e.g. Workplanner), Excel, and workforce reporting.
• Fluent in Greek and English.
• Proactive, structured, and people-focused mindset with a sense of urgency.
• Ability to work closely with operational leadership and scale HR infrastructure from scratch.
