Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Laboratory Assistant/Trainee Perfumer based in Athens. The role involves assisting with daily laboratory operations, including preparing and mixing ingredients, conducting quality control tests, and maintaining laboratory equipment. Additional responsibilities include collaborating on fragrance development, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and supporting the creative process in line with Baruti's mission.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Laboratory Equipment and fundamental Laboratory Skills
  • Strong Analytical Skills for quality control and data interpretation
  • Effective Communication skills to collaborate with team members
  • Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards
  • Interest in and passion for perfumery; prior experience in fragrance or cosmetic industries is a plus
  • Ability to work on-site in Athens and adhere to safety best practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field is preferred but not required
