Role Description
Euroclinic Athens is seeking a full-time Radiographer
to join its Medical Imaging Department. This is an on-site role based in Athens, Greece. The Radiographer will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging examinations, ensuring adherence to radiation safety standards, and operating and maintaining imaging equipment. The role involves close collaboration with medical and nursing teams to support accurate diagnosis and effective patient care. A strong focus on safety, professionalism, and compassionate patient interaction is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures (e.g., X-ray, CT, MRI depending on training/authorization) in accordance with established protocols
- Ensure strict compliance with radiation protection and safety guidelines
- Prepare, position, and support patients throughout the imaging process
- Operate, monitor, and maintain radiologic equipment
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality imaging outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records
- Uphold high standards of patient care, comfort, and confidentiality
Qualifications
- Degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent qualification
- Valid certification/licensure as a Radiographer
- Strong knowledge of radiology equipment and imaging procedures
- Solid understanding of radiation safety standards and best practices
- Previous experience in a hospital or clinical environment is an advantage
- Familiarity with advanced imaging technologies is considered a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
