Commsquare is looking for motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our team.

Background

  • Commsquare develops telecom and mobile network monitoring solutions which consist of several software applications.
  • Development takes place in in Core (C/C++ applications), backend (python applications), analytics (Apache PySpark applications) and UI applications) domains.
  • Jenkins is used as the continuous integration server.

Goal

  • The goal of this internship is to migrate existing build pipelines from Jenkins CI to Gitlab CI. The steps to be taken are listed below.
  • Document existing pipelines studying specific roles and steps, i.e. unit-testing, build and deployment.
  • Migrate pipelines to Gitlab CI.

Methods

  • CI/CD.
  • Gitlab and Gitlab CI.

Qualifications

  • Student of Electrical or Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or similar field.
  • Good knowledge of Gitlab CI.
  • Strong reasoning and analytical skills
  • Fluency in English (spoken & written)
  • Be a team player with good communication skills.
  • Be self-motivated, willing to take initiative and ownership, solution oriented with a "can" do attitude.
