ManpowerGroup, on behalf of our client, a multinational specialist in gas and diesel engine-based power plants for energy efficient and renewable power generation, is looking for an Accountant.

Location: Kallithea, Greece
You will be reporting to: Finance Manager

What you will do:

  • Entry of purchase invoices for inventory
  • Accounting of transactions in accordance with Greek Accounting Standards (GAS)
  • Issuance of sales invoices for goods
  • Excellent knowledge of Greek tax legislation and continuous updating on changes and developments
  • Preparation and submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual tax declarations (VAT, payroll tax, income tax, E3, Intrastat, VIES, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of procedures and forms of the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE) and the General Commercial Registry (GEMI)
  • Annual year-end closing
  • Collaboration with auditors for the company's audit
  • Support of the team regarding customer balances

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • University degree in Accounting or Economics.
  • Up to 4 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge of the Entersoft ERP system and MS Office.
  • Good knowledge of the English language.

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to work under pressure
