We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Platform team, a group of generalists and builders responsible for the core infrastructure that powers our entire engineering organization. If you thrive in environments where you can shape foundational systems, improve developer productivity, and operate at the intersection of software and infrastructure, this is your role.

You'll help design, build, and evolve the internal platforms, tooling, and systems that empower all of our engineers to ship faster, safer, and with confidence.

• Design, build, and evolve core infrastructure on AWS, including networking, security, and databases
• Manage and extend Kubernetes clusters (EKS), ensuring scalability, resilience, and performance (autoscaling, rollout strategies, etc.)
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Argo Workflows, and Argo Rollouts
• Continuously improve Developer Experience (DX) with internal platforms, self-service tools, and process automation
• Build and maintain internal AI-powered productivity tools, including RAG-based assistants and internal copilots (MCPs)
• Develop and maintain internal services like test data anonymization, test environment provisioning
• Champion infrastructure security, working closely with product and security teams to enforce best practices
• Define and enforce observability standards, integrating metrics, logs, and tracing across systems
• Support incident response and postmortems, driving root cause analysis and resilience improvements
• Lead cost optimization efforts across infrastructure and tooling

• Cloud: AWS (EKS, RDS, S3, IAM, etc.)
• Orchestration & IaC: Kubernetes, Terraform, Pulumi, ArgoCD, Argo Workflows, Argo Rollouts
• CI/CD: GitHub Actions
• Edge & Security: Cloudflare, Zero Trust, IAM, private links
• Languages: Python, Rust
• Observability: Datadog

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Platform, DevOps, or Infrastructure Engineering roles
• Strong experience with cloud-native infrastructure (preferably AWS)
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code practices (e.g., Terraform)
• Familiarity with building and maintaining CI/CD systems
• Experience with one or more backend languages (Python, Rust preferred)
• Strong security awareness and experience with secure-by-default systems
• Passion for improving engineering workflows and developer productivity
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with SRE, Security, QA, and Application teams

• Experience with building internal developer platforms (IDP)
• Familiarity with AI productivity tooling
• Hands-on experience with cost monitoring and infrastructure optimization
• Contributions to open-source projects in the platform/infra space
