Job Title: Finance - Graduate Trainee
Report to: Finance Manager
Duration: 12 months (Full-time)
Job Summary: Support the Finance Team by preparing detailed financial analyses, reports, and assisting in projects across capital markets, corporate strategy, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), ship financing, and investment evaluations. This internship provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop expertise in financial modeling, strategic financial planning, and transaction support in a dynamic, corporate environment

Main Responsibilities

Maintain, update, and improve complex financial models
Assist with the creation of financial analyses including scenario simulations, sensitivity analyses, and detailed assessments of potential acquisitions and financing structures
Prepare and enhance investment presentations, roadshow materials, and comprehensive investment memoranda
Support the management of banking relationships including monitoring financial covenants, Know Your Customer (KYC) processes, and account openings
Produce periodic and ad-hoc business reports tailored for senior management and key company stakeholders
Conduct comprehensive industry, competitor, and market research to support strategic decision-making

Requirements

Desired Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Engineering (but with an interest in Finance) or a closely related field
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Quick learner with the capability to grasp and analyze complex concepts swiftly
Fluency in both written and spoken English
