As a Lithium Batteries Design Engineer, you are responsible for the development of high-performance battery systems for demanding applications. You work on designing both the battery architecture and its management system, ensuring safety, reliability, and compliance with industry and military standards. This role offers the opportunity to drive innovation in energy storage technologies, within a highly technical and multi-disciplinary environment that consists of fellow engineers, in a rapidly evolving industry sector (defense). It is a position in Special Products Development Department, in Sunlight's R&D team.

Key activities and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Responsible for the system-level design of lithium batteries used in defense applications.
  • Defines requirements and specifications for the associated Battery Management System (BMS).
  • Engages in hardware design of the BMS.
  • Conducts design verification and qualification in accordance with safety and military standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
  • At least three (3) years of industry experience in the field of product development.
  • Good knowledge of electronic hardware design: analog, digital and communications (CAN bus, embedded).
  • Familiarity with simulation and CAD environments (Spice, Altium).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Greek & English.

  • Ability to perform both conceptual and detailed electrical and electronic product design.
  • Team player, able to establish and maintain professional relationships
