We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Application Engineer to join our IT operations team, supporting critical enterprise applications across diverse environments. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience in application lifecycle management, automation, performance tuning, and containerized infrastructure.

This is a fully remote position.

Your key responsibilities will be:
  • Install, configure, and administer applications in both production and non-production environments.
  • Monitor application performance, fine-tune systems, and implement continuous improvements in service quality and operational efficiency.
  • Support application lifecycle activities including incident resolution, change management, releases, and problem-solving.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation including installation procedures, troubleshooting guides, and backup/restore plans.
  • Automate recurring system administration tasks and maintain supporting documentation.
  • Contribute to the structuring and maintenance of a robust technical knowledge base for ICT operations.
  • Provide analytical reports on application availability, performance, and capacity upon request.

Requirements

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in mid-to-large scale IT infrastructure environments.
  • At least 5 years of direct experience in application administration.
  • Strong working knowledge of Elasticsearch, including at least 2 years of cluster administration.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, Rancher).
  • Solid scripting ability in Shell and/or PowerShell.
  • Familiar with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chocolatey).
  • Strong understanding of ITIL processes including incident, change, and release management.
  • Proficient in English (B2 or higher).
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with public or hybrid cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Knowledge of relational databases (MS SQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
  • Experience with Kong API Gateway.
  • Relevant technical certifications.
