Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer

We are continuously growing, and we are looking for a Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer to join our UniQue Modern Workplace & Cloud Services team, part of our ICT Services Technical Division.

For the Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer position we expect you to:

• Be responsible for the design, implementation, optimization, and support of intricate IT systems utilizing Microsoft technologies.
• Manage remote and on-site as well as maintain customers' IT infrastructure.
• Be involved in investigating and resolving cases.

• University/College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other relative discipline
• At least 5+ years of proven experience in a similar role and expertise in supporting IT infrastructure solutions
• Knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems and Microsoft Technologies
• Understanding how to build and troubleshoot supporting services (DNS–DHCP-CA)
• Experience with on-premises Exchange Server and Exchange online
• Knowledge of management and deployment of Active Directory and Federation Services
• Managing and optimizing AD Group Policies in large corporate environments
• Experience with System Center (SCVMM - SCOM - SCCM)
• Skilled in performance tuning, log analysis, and capacity planning
• High Availability (HA) and Failover Clustering for Microsoft Services
• Familiarity with Microsoft Hyper-V and other hypervisors
• Ability in scripting and automation using PowerShell or other tools
• Skills in Azure Cloud computing would be beneficial
• Azure Arc for managing on-prem resources
• Integration with Microsoft 365 and Azure AD
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Very good communication skills to work with business stakeholders
• Familiarity with documentation of infrastructure and deployment processes
• Planning and change management skills
• Proficiency in the English language (both verbal and written)
• Flexibility to travel abroad (mainly EU countries, 5% of the working time)
