We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our cloud engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud-based systems.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing, with experience in AWS technologies, services, and ecosystem. You will be responsible for:

• Collaboration with Development Teams: Work closely with development teams to plan, deploy, and administer applications running on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Cloud Infrastructure Management: Maintain the AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code principles and Terraform.
• Technology Adoption: Initiate and drive the adoption of new technologies and use of best practices for development and operations.
• Mentoring and Oversight: Mentor and oversee other engineers, fostering collaboration, sharing best practices, and helping to drive continuous improvement across the team.
• Technical Leadership: Lead and manage specific technical domains or projects, ensuring architectural consistency, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
• Engineering Process Improvement: Oversee and improve engineering processes and practices, identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and enhanced system reliability.
• Cloud Migration: Implement and oversee cloud migration projects.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree: In Computer Science or a related field.
• Cloud Computing Experience: Overall knowledge of solution design and deployment projects, experience with Docker, CI/CD with GitLab and/or Jenkins, AWS technologies, services, and ecosystem, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools, Terraform, and versioning tools such as Git.
• Essential Skills: Distinctive organisation and documentation skills, excellent time management skills, and essential Linux and Windows admin, networking, and scripting skills.
