We are seeking a skilled and experienced Culinary Leader to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our guests.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing food preparation and presentation in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for leading a team of cooks and ensuring that all menu items are prepared to the highest standard.
- Job Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute menus in conjunction with the hotel's culinary team
- Supervise and coordinate the work of cooks and other kitchen staff
- Ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Monitor and control inventory levels and place orders as necessary
- Implement efficient systems for food storage and disposal
- Develop and implement new recipes and dishes in consultation with the hotel's culinary team
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts
- Minimum 5 years experience in a senior kitchen role, preferably in a luxury hotel or high-end restaurant
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
- Experience with inventory management and stock control
