Backend Software Engineer for Courier Service

Our company is building a next-generation courier service that complements the e-commerce experience. We deliver over 20,000 packages daily and are rapidly expanding our services.

We have launched various innovative services, including real-time tracking and notifications, automated customer support, and rescheduling. These services have resulted in us being the #1 Carrier in Greece in terms of Customer Satisfaction.

We are seeking a Backend Engineer to help scale our capacity to serve and offer the best service. You will contribute to building the platform driving thousands of orders per day from merchants to customers in a predictable and performant manner.

As part of our API team, you will be responsible for adding new capabilities and services to our product. You'll work directly with our founding team to solve top-priority business problems.

Examples of recent projects include warehouse scanning and sorting systems, automated returns handling, and software for delivery to networked parcel machines.

Your tasks may include syncing with our business intelligence team on upcoming problems, developing new API features, and reviewing feature impact with the BI team.

Requirements

Your Skills & Experience

Experience

  • At least 2 years of experience working as a Software Engineer in a professional setting
  • Proven experience in Javascript/Typescript and PostgreSQL/MySQL or the ability to ramp up quickly
  • Solid understanding of web and systems architecture
