Cybersecurity Analyst

Synopsis

This role involves collaborating with a diverse group of professionals to help clients improve their ability to detect and respond to cyber threats.

As part of the Cyber Intelligence Center, you will work closely with experts from various disciplines and geographies to provide innovative solutions to complex cybersecurity challenges.

• Analyzing network and system activity to support detection capability development and incident response efforts.
• Conducting advanced security analysis and threat hunting activities using known adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Enabling clients to respond swiftly and effectively to cyber incidents by supporting containment, eradication, remediation, and recovery efforts.
• Leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as EDR, XDR, and SIEM to improve detection and response capabilities.
• Delivering excellent service to clients through technical reporting and presentations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a cybersecurity analyst or incident response role.
• A university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, along with a postgraduate qualification in Information Security or equivalent.
• Experience with Windows and Unix/Linux systems.
• Solid understanding of core networking and operating systems concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Prior experience with log analysis, network traffic analysis, and endpoint analysis.
• Understanding of common cyber threats and adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc.).
• Fluency in both English and Greek language.
• Military obligations fulfilled where applicable.
