Job Opportunity: AI/ML Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate IT professional with expertise in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). As an integral member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging IT software projects for major international public organizations.

The successful candidate will participate in requirements elicitation meetings, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and elaborate functional/non-functional specifications. You will analyze data from various sources to drive optimization and improvement of product development and business strategies, identify suitable models and algorithms, develop proof-of-concepts and enterprise solutions, and contribute to the full development lifecycle.

In this role, you will operate in a multinational environment, adhering to highly professional standards and methods. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality products.

To excel in this position, you will require:

  • A university degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields;
  • Good understanding of AI and machine learning techniques, their real-world advantages and drawbacks, data modeling and evaluation, and the ML lifecycle;
  • Experience with Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA);
  • Strong analytical capabilities, teamwork, and quality-oriented skills, along with excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Nice to Have Qualifications Include:

  • Experience with Big Data technologies, such as Spark (and PySpark);
  • Knowledge of SQL and exposure to ETL development.
