International Head of Commercial Opportunity
We are seeking a highly driven and experienced International Head of Commercial to lead our Sales function in Athens. This role will focus on driving revenue growth, overseeing the performance of our international sales teams, and ensuring strong execution of our sales strategy.
Key Responsibilities- Commercial Strategy and Growth Alignment
- Develop and drive commercial strategies in alignment with company-wide goals.
- Analyze market and business data to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to shape initiatives that foster sustainable growth.
- Drive structured account acquisition plans and implement modern sales methodologies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects.
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities and strategic deals.
- Develop and execute outbound sales strategies and go-to-market initiatives.
- Lead, mentor, and scale high-performing sales teams at HQ and abroad.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of all personnel based outside Greece.
- Ensure alignment of international team activities with HQ-driven commercial priorities.
- Provide support, guidance, and performance oversight across remote teams.
- Improve and standardize commercial operations and reporting processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support market execution and commercial effectiveness.
- Drive process improvement initiatives based on business feedback and data.
- Own and manage budget planning, forecasting, and commercial performance tracking.
- Develop pricing strategies and revenue models aligned with business objectives.
- Deliver actionable performance insights to leadership.
- Oversee client contract negotiations and structuring of commercial deals.
- Ensure consistency in terms and risk mitigation across markets.
- Work with Legal and Finance to ensure compliance and margin control.
Requirements
- 7+ years experience in commercial or sales roles, preferably within fast-paced organizations.
- Track record of leading international teams and delivering cross-functional projects.
- Strong business acumen with focus on revenue growth and operational discipline.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively with remote teams and align diverse functions under a central strategy.
Bonus Points
- MBA or equivalent qualification.
- Track record in scaling international sales teams from a central HQ.
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools that improve sales efficiency or personalization.
- Hands-on knowledge of sales automation tools (e.g. HubSpot, Salesforce) and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Experience in the entertainment, events, or ticketing industry.
