Technical Solutions Advisor

As a key member of our Digital Ocean team, you will play a pivotal role in the setup and deployment of Vessel Insight features and applications. You will be responsible for facilitating the onboarding of new customer installations onto the cloud platform, supporting project management efforts, and collaborating with the global technical team to map signals and configure features.

You will work closely with product and development teams to resolve challenges and drive continuous improvement. Your expertise will be crucial in verifying signal availability onboard vessels and confirming compatibility with Vessel Insight services.

In this dynamic role, you will have the opportunity to ensure clear communication and coordination among internal teams and external stakeholders. You will also document technical processes, installation details, and issue resolutions to support knowledge sharing.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Higher education within a relevant field or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of Maritime Automation Systems, Navigation Systems, Power Management Systems, Monitoring Instruments, and Vessel Performance Systems.
• Previous experience working with shipping operations or domain knowledge of the maritime industry.
• Familiarity with technical operations onboard vessels and understanding of maritime assets.
• A strong interest in digitalization and its application within the maritime sector.
