Unlock the Power of Linux Development

We are seeking a skilled coder to boost development on our Player, tailored for the Raspberry Pi. Our player is 95% Python and 5% C, tapping into the power of high-level languages to automate tasks, but also to the low-level APIs provided by the Raspberry Pi.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Enhance our main playback logic engine to accommodate new features, writing code mostly in Python
  • Evolve our Playback Engine, using Python
  • Design and build APIs for allowing playback customization through our Custom Widgets
  • Ensure support for new hardware platforms we are targeting
  • Setting up Linux configuration and tweaking for the Player to optimize performance and reliability
  • Collaborate and organize with the team under the Scrum framework, converting user requirements into engineering tasks
  • Collaborate with other departments such as Support and other engineering teams

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years work experience as a Python Developer
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Linux
  • Understanding of networking under Linux
  • Team spirit
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • BSc in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
  • Fluency in English language
